All locations of the library have copy machines available for public use at a charge of 20 cents a page.  Printing from public PCs is also available for 20 cents a page.  No color copying or printing is available.

All library branches of the Calcasieu Parish Public Library system have public PCs available for use by library card holders in good standing.  Users login to the PC using their library card and PIN number for 1 hour sessions, with a daily limit of 2 sessions.  The PCs include internet access, Microsoft Office 2007, and plug-ins for Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash and Java that are updated quarterly.  Users must agree to the Electronic Use Policy to access the PCs.

Library Technology and Tips for New Users

Libraries Southwest (LSW) is a service that links the parish libraries of Southwest Louisiana together in order to provide better service to patrons.
An LSW library card enables patrons to utilize library services and check out materials from any of these six parishes: Allen, Beauregard, Calcasieu, Cameron, Jeff Davis, and Vernon.

The Library has six public meeting rooms, and 3 conference rooms available for booking. For more information on this service, please visit the library's Meeting Room Policy.

Patrons with a valid phone number and/or email address in their library account receive scheduled auto-generated pre-overdue, overdue, hold and bill notices. With the Library Elf service, patrons receive pre-overdue, overdue and hold notices via email and text messaging.
Hint: Library Elf is a help to those needing to manage multiple library cards.

All library branches of the Calcasieu Parish Public Library system have public Wifi access available for use by library card holders in good standing. 
Users may login to the WiFi network using their library card and PIN numbers between 8:00 am and 10 pm daily.
