A Forgotten Community: A History of Mossville

On Tuesday, March 12, 2019, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, special guest, Bill Sherman spoke on his book outlining the rich past of the Mossville area. Accompanying Shearman on the presentation was Susan Reed from the Imperial Calcasieu Museum. Mr. Shearman generously made copies of his book available for free to those in attendance and was available for signing. The presentation was held in the Southwest Louisiana Genealogical and Historical Library located at 411 Pujo Street in historic downtown Lake Charles.
